Well 100 miles and about 7 gallons of fuel later and she's running top notch. I think I was having transmission and converter problems for a while and that's why it was such a dog off the line.. Today I stopped it at a light and chirped the tires.. Never done that before with this one being AWD lol.. Pulled hard too. Very pleased so far

Ya that's the last SS from the NUR dyno day lol...It was set as private on YouTube for years, I just changed it to public when I was going through my videos. That dyno wouldn't work for my current AWD one lol

Ya I miss that color.. So much better than my silver one.. But you get what you get.. These are more rare than the GTOs were.. Only 25k ever made of the 1.6 million Trailblazers produced...so I didn't get much choice when it came to color... That and 2006 was the only year that blue was made... The other yrs was a really dark blue.. Didn't like it much

Had a rattle that sound like chains rattling coming from the front drivers side.. Front shock is shot, been leaking for a while now so I saw it coming but they wanted $1500 for new front and rear shocks installed...my mechanic.. Yes mine lol.. Said go aftermarket.. I said oh I am.. Im lowering it and the parts will be better and cheaper. So just ordered a custom belltech lowering kit.. Adjustable front struts and for the rear I got the proper lowering springs and new shocks.. The belltech shocks and spring in the rear are custom spec'd by belltech for our trucks thanks to the forum owner.. Since originally truck came with rear air ride suspension, for towing purposes this retains close to the max towing ability still. It will lower the front about an inch and the rear will be lowered about 4-5 inches since it's got the wrong springs in it now... Previous owner took out airbags and put in standard trailblazer springs.. Idiot.. So its Gonna look much better and should ride better as well. Hopefully next Thurs parts are here and Friday can get it done. Got me a 25% off coupon for the dealer too lol.. So installation will run me just over $300 and parts were $475.. Much better than what they wanted.. And I actually get to lower it this way!

That's not bad at all. Should look great once lowered.

Current truck height from ground to fender lip

Driver front 32.5"
passenger front 32"
Driver Rear 34.75"
Passenger Rear 34.75"

These trucks always sit a little lower on passenger side front for some reason... Guess when my fat ass gets in it levels out lol.. Anyways will be lowering the truck down to 31.5" at all 4 corners is the goal.. So I've put the correct spacers on the struts for lowering the drivers front 1 inch and passenger front half an inch.

The rear isn't adjustable and should sit right at 31.5" with new springs and struts
